Hey! I’m Stan McDowall. I started Black Feather Studio with nothing but a small camera, a drone and a random first thought, why not call the business Black Feather Studio? Based right here in Invercargill.
Over the years, I have been fortunate enough to travel the world with a camera. It wasn’t until around 2017 that wedding videos were slowly becoming popular around the country. So, I decided to give it a go.
Fast forward to today and between myself and my small team, we have captured over 100 weddings in total. Outside of weddings, I travel a lot throughout New Zealand shooting for events, bands, artists & DJs.
No two weddings are the same. It always excites me to piece together your special day in video or photo form.
